• Disclosing sexual abuse
  • Juvenile delinquency
  • Running away
  • Seeming to have knowledge of sexual activity that is adult in nature (oral sex, use of objects…)
  • Attempting to act out abuse similar to what has been experienced with younger children.

Other Common Signs of Child Sexual Abuse:
  • Bed Wetting
  • Nightmares
  • Falling asleep at inappropriate times (because abuse takes place overnight)
  • Abnormally comfortable with strangers
  • Anxious to please and seems ready to let others say/do things to him or her.
  • Frequent absences from church activities
  • Trouble obeying rules at home or school
  • Frequent headaches or stomachaches
  • Shyness or fearfulness
  • Eating less or more than usual
  • Sleeping less or more than usual
